I hadn't posted this here up til now because there's not that many that read it and most of you are connected with Rowan one way or another anyway. But, in an effort to increase visibility -

Rowan's in a pinch. Another friend started a LJ group (rescue_rowan ) where people are donating items to sell or auction via the group to help her out. If you're doing holiday shopping, have a gander and see if perhaps something being offered fills a need for you.

This journal is friends-only.  It has been for a while.  While I always thought that it needed something to announce this fact I just got around to doing something about it.

Why is it friends-only?  Short answer: because I want it that way.  Long answer:  because I want it that way.  I have too much drama in my everyday life* to need more of it online.  Frankly, I don't buy into the, rather nebulous, LJ concept of a "friend".  My own definition is much more restrictive.  Therefore, I exercise control.

That being said, I don't hide who I am here.  Jehosefatz is the name of one of my World of Warcraft characters and a name that I just plain like.  If you found this journal and believe that we are (or were...or possibly should be) friends and you want to see what I have to say here when the Muse inspires me then I make it incumbant upon you... to get ahold of... me. 

When you do, let me know your livejournal name and who you really are and, if I don't know you personally how the connection is made. 

Much as in life, contact is no guarantee of becoming friendly.  But it doesn't hurt.
